Based on the consultation, we build a treatment plan that accounts for your child's specific needs at every step. For a child with sensory sensitivities, that might mean scheduling a quiet appointment time, dimming the lights, minimizing equipment sounds, and using noise-canceling headphones. For a child who needs predictability, it might mean a detailed visual schedule of what will happen during the visit. General anesthesia is available both in-office and in a hospital setting for children who require complete sedation to receive safe treatment. For children who cannot tolerate traditional drilling or prolonged treatment, minimally invasive options including silver diamine fluoride, the Hall Technique crown, and resin infiltration reduce the demands of each appointment. Our goal is always to accomplish necessary treatment in the most conservative, efficient way possible so your child spends the least amount of time in the chair.
