Rooted Right Here in Michigan
Dr. Kasey Stark did not move to Michigan for a job opportunity. She grew up here. She went to school here, danced on stages here, taught kids in this community, and chose to plant her life and practice here. That kind of connection is rare, and it shapes everything about how Kids Tooth Team Michigan shows up for its neighbors.
Our team actively looks for ways to be present beyond our office walls. Whether that means supporting local schools, cheering on youth sports, partnering with family-owned businesses, or simply being good neighbors, we take our role in this community seriously. We are grateful for the trust Lake Orion and Fenton families have placed in us, and we do not take it for granted.

Why Did You Become a Pediatric Dentist?
Dr. Justin studied martial arts from a young age, focusing on Shaolin Kung Fu, Judo, and Tai Chi at Yee’s Martial Arts Academy in the California Bay Area. His Grandmaster, Sifu John Yee, emphasized compassion and helping others, which shaped Dr. Justin’s character and inspired his passion for working with children. Teaching martial arts classes sparked his love for mentoring kids.
He was also inspired by his childhood dentist and orthodontist. Their positive influence showed him how powerful a healthy, happy smile could be—not just physically, but emotionally and mentally. During college and dental school, Dr. Justin pursued this passion through outreach programs, charity events, and leadership roles in pediatric-focused organizations.
One moment that has stayed with him was treating a terminally ill child through the Make a Wish Foundation. The child’s wish was simply to have a dental cleaning. Dr. Justin and his team decorated the room with balloons, and the boy smiled the entire time. That moment, and many others, are why Dr. Justin is passionate about what he does.

Mission of Mercy: Free Dental Care for Michigan Families
Every two years, Mission of Mercy brings free dental care to families across the state of Michigan who might otherwise go without treatment. Dr. Kasey Stark serves as co-chair of the event's pediatric dental department, helping coordinate care for the youngest patients who come through the doors.
This event reflects a belief we hold close at Kids Tooth Team Michigan. Every child deserves access to quality dental care, no matter their family's circumstances.

The Stark Scholarship: Investing in Local Young Dancers
Each year, Dr. Kasey Stark sponsors a scholarship at DeCamp Spotlight School of Dance, covering a full season of tuition for a dancer chosen based on merit, academic dedication, and commitment to the studio. It is a small way our team gives back to young people working hard toward their goals, both on and off the stage.
Showing Up for Our Local Schools and Libraries
Community support means showing up consistently, not just when it is convenient. Our team sponsors events at the Clarkston and Lake Orion Public Libraries throughout the year, and we are proud to support St. John Catholic School in Fenton.
Whether it is a library story time or a school event, being part of these communities is something we take seriously, well beyond the walls of our offices.

In the Dental Chair
Every child who comes through our doors receives the same high standard of care, regardless of insurance status, financial situation, or dental history. We work with most major PPO plans, accept Medicaid, and offer flexible financing options so that access to great care is never a barrier.
In the Classroom
Our team is happy to visit local schools and community events to talk with kids about oral health, make the dentist feel less scary, and get children excited about taking care of their smiles. Healthy habits start early, and we love helping lay that foundation.
In the Neighborhood
From sponsoring local events to supporting small businesses and community organizations, we try to be the kind of practice that gives as much to this community as it gives to us.
