During your first visit, Dr. Kasey will thoroughly examine your child’s mouth to understand their dental needs and identify any potential issues.
If they are deemed necessary, and if you approve, we will take a set of x-rays. These images will help us spot issues that may not be visible to the naked eye.
We will go over your previous treatment plan and make recommendations or provide alternatives. There is no pressure to proceed, we just want you to feel confident and informed about your options.

We know how stressful dealing with medical bills can be. That’s why we use specialized programs and software designed specifically to help with insurance benefits. Typically, there won’t even be an out of pocket cost for cleanings and exams. If Dr. Kasey finds any potential issues during your child’s exam, she may make recommendations for additional treatments which would incur additional costs, and we always let you know up front what those costs will be. We know what it’s like being surprised by a doctor’s bill, so we want to eliminate the surprises!
First and foremost, you can expect a great visit to the dentist! Your child’s first visit will be focused on getting to know them and their individual needs. Every child’s personality is different, and we want to accommodate this. We’ll make sure they are gently introduced to our friendly staff to ensure they feel comfortable in their new dental home.
